WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN CHURCH
We are happy that you’re interested in visiting! You can expect a warm welcome and a hot cup of coffee. You will hear the good news of our Savior Jesus Christ and meet people who value growing closer to God through worship, music and prayer.
Where We Are
Resurrection Lutheran Church-330 Palos Verdes Blvd. -Torrance
The church and school are located on the east side of the boulevard.
Entrance just south of church. Turn left at the top of the ramp.
Follow the ramp to access more parking.
The main entrance is on the side of the building opposite the street.
You have two services to choose from:
Children's Sermon & Sunday School
We encourage children to be part of the worship service, so we have a special "Children's Sermon" presented in the sanctuary early in the service. The children are called up front to listen and participate. You are welcome to go up front with your child if he/she is hesitant or needs a little support.
We want you and your little ones to be comfortable, so please know that your children are always welcome in our worship services. If you are in need, a nursery located on the lower level, is available for infants and toddlers. The nursery is staffed by one of our youth trained in First Aid and CPR. It also has a changing table available for your use.
Between services, we invite you to the patio area for coffee, pastries and conversation. We would love to introduce ourselves and give you an opportunity to meet Pastor Ken. We also recommend that you check out the great view of the Pacific Ocean from Rygh Hall and the front lawn.
Church Tour with Pastor Ken
If you are interested in having a tour of our church, and/or asking some questions about our services or programs, you can schedule a tour. Pastor Ken is happy to meet with you and share information about Resurrection Lutheran.
After the Children's Sermon, the children are dismissed to go to Sunday school which is held in our community room (Rygh Hall). Ages for Sunday school are Preschool-Grade 6. You can pick them up after the service and ask them about the story they learned and the craft they made.
