“Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
Vacation Bible School is offered during the summer for a minimal fee. A fun filled week of active learning takes place all over our church and school campus from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Every year a new program is designed centered around a central theme. Daily bible points and lessons are taught every day, and reinforced through music, food, dance, art and science. Children participate in large and small groups under the direction of the VBS Director, our pastor and camp counselors.
A Children’s Message is part of our 9 a.m. contemporary service. All ages are invited to gather around the altar to hear and participate in a brief children’s message designed specifically for young minds and hearts to illustrate the scripture lesson.
Sunday School is available for children ages 3 through 6th grade September through June during the 9 am service. Our dedicated church volunteers teach interactive bible lessons in small groups, providing materials and instructions for activities on how to illustrate the bible point. A light snack is also offered.
Kids Klub is offered Tuesdays, 4:30-6:30 p.m., in Rygh Hall
A Christian based children’s program for those in the 1st-5th grades. Kids create fun crafts, play games, explore music, share a meal and make new friendships! Summer Splash Camp
Splash is our summer day camp opened to all children grades K-5th . The program is run in conjunction with Riviera Hall School. Campers have opportunities to engage in morning academic sessions, such as reading, writing, math, and STEM. In the afternoons, fun activities are planned, including games, arts/crafts, outside entertainment/performers, and walking field
trips to local parks and beaches.
We have weekly Bible studies and VBS week is incorporated into this camp. This past year, Splash was offered on-line as a summer academic program.
